With a lashing of velvet,
Covered over your pale legs,
You walk in with prettiness
Covering hidden delinquency.
The world is one we all know
To portray what is
As all we can see
And hide truths in gaps in between
There is truth in a lie,
Darkness  in the sun,
Black holes and thunderstorms
mystery has won
Strangers read from the oath of your hand
God’s imprinted on you
‘Serve the land’
And as you walk you are dazzled
By velvet, honey, sung hums
Lace fashions and silhouettes
That it becomes something more than what it should be
God’s plan  undone?
For if he knew the sweet taste of
Flowers, you think,
Perhaps mulberry and wine
Anything about
A bitten apple
Would be froze in time.
And what is it to be like a human?
Are the treasures of earth
So visually strewn beneath us
Irrestiable in their divine
Is a world shaken by darkness of foul play or are we ever bathed in his light?
Do we live to die?
When a taste of creation lays beneath
Man’s heaven in a cloud of sky.
