Bodies

We come to clusters
Made from the black rocks
Of steady cliffs
Carved by raven’s claws
Under telescopic starlight.
What carved your jaw, cheekbone
Came from the most glimmering lights
We are laid and strewn across
Heavenly
Our bodies raw pale and succulent
Earth delights.
