I have known
From the curve of your lip into its smirk
The taint of a cheek turned warm.
Feelings with no description.
Times when feelings burned,
As your leg,
Slowly, softly
Touched mine
And we shook our palms,
As if agreeing to
Stand each other
For as long as humanely possible,
Without falling into this pit of despaired love
And lust you say,
Is what got us nowhere
And as I look outside,
And walk into a pillar of snow
I kick my leg
As if digging
For a visual view
Of something we both surely once knew, and so well.
