Bite you carnivore

Bite you carnivore
Go on dig in
Taste me,
Treat me,
Rip me,
Sear me,
For you are not a speaker,
But a bringer to me
You tear your wounds,
Then soothe my marks,
Pull out your flashlight for all to see.

Your proud work
And your glinting smile
Makes me wither.
I am your flower, oh yes
I surrender to what you are.

And through your sharp roughness a crowd gathers,
They wrap around me and bite away at you,
Even from afar like a snake slithering in its tree
Send down a hiss.
Return you from me.

I find as I sit here
Often
And scrawl these words,
I feel as though I am an antelope who sees from the side instead of
A front
Eyes set looking
I still am out for your hunt.
